Privacy Policy

Summary

Lightroom AI Bridge collects nothing and sends nothing to Speranda or anyone else. It connects only to Adobe Lightroom Classic on your own Mac. There are no accounts, no analytics, no trackers, and no ads.

One thing to understand clearly: the AI agent you connect to it (such as Claude) is a separate service. When the agent looks at your photos, the previews and photo details it reads are sent to that agent's provider, under that provider's own privacy policy. Section 5 explains this.

1. Who we are

Lightroom AI Bridge ("the software") is a Lightroom Classic plug-in, command line tool and MCP server for macOS, made by Speranda ("we", "us"). It is free and open source; the full source code is public on GitHub, so every statement on this page can be checked.

2. Information we collect

None. The software does not:

  • ask you to create an account or sign in;
  • collect your name, email, location, photos, catalog contents, or any device identifier;
  • use analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking of any kind;
  • contact Speranda's servers or any other server.

3. What stays on your Mac

The software reads and writes only on your own computer:

  • Your Lightroom catalog. Edits, ratings, flags and labels are stored where Lightroom always stores them. Your original photo files are never modified.
  • A working folder, ~/.claude-lrc-bridge, holding preview images, the connection files, and two log files.
  • Develop presets, only when you ask to save one, in Adobe's standard preset folder.
  • Your knowledge base, the kb folder inside the software's own folder, holding the notes the agent writes about your editing taste.
  • Temporary renders in your Mac's temporary folder while an agent works.

4. Network use

The plug-in and the command line tool talk to each other over your Mac's internal loopback connection (127.0.0.1) and a local socket file. These connections never leave your computer, and nothing is exposed to your network.

The software makes no internet connections of its own. Downloading or updating it from GitHub is covered by GitHub's privacy statement. If you set it up with the uv tool, uv downloads supporting packages from the Python Package Index.

5. Your AI agent

To edit or judge a photo, your AI agent looks at it. The agent receives preview images of your photos, their Develop settings, and capture details that can include the camera, lens, exposure settings, file names, and, if the photo has it, GPS location.

That information goes from the agent to its provider (for example, Anthropic for Claude), and it is handled under that provider's terms and privacy policy, not ours. We never receive it. If that matters for particular photos, such as client work under a confidentiality agreement, check your provider's data policies before connecting an agent to that catalog.

6. Adobe Lightroom Classic

The software works inside Adobe Lightroom Classic, which is Adobe's product and is covered by Adobe's own privacy policy. We have no access to your Adobe account.

7. Data sharing

We collect no data, so we have nothing to sell, share, or disclose.

8. Keeping and deleting your data

Everything described in section 3 is under your control. To remove what the software created, delete the ~/.claude-lrc-bridge folder and the software's own folder, including its kb folder. Edits already made stay in your Lightroom catalog, where you can revert them at any time.

We hold no copy of anything, so there is nothing to request from us and nothing for us to delete.

9. Children's privacy

The software collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

10. Your privacy rights

Laws such as the GDPR (EU and UK) and the CCPA (California) give you rights over personal data a company holds about you. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing on our side to access, correct, export, or erase. For data held by your AI provider or by Adobe, contact them directly.

11. Changes

If the software ever changes how it handles data, this page will be updated with a new effective date before that version is released.
