Tools and projects built with care, priced with restraint, and made to stay useful.
Free when possible. Pay once when ownership makes sense. Subscribe only when real costs keep it running.
Speranda, Latin for the things that are to be hoped for, makes small tools and keeps them working. Where a tool can be free, it's free. Where it can't, you pay once and own it. And when a tool runs on something that costs money every month, like a paid API or a server that never sleeps, it carries a subscription, kept as low as those costs allow. The promise was never “you'll never pay.” It's that you'll never pay for nothing.
Whenever a tool can stand on its own: no account, no trial, no catch. Most of the catalog lives here.
When ownership makes sense, one price and it's yours, updates included.
Only when a tool has real monthly costs, like servers or a paid API. Priced to cover them, not to pad them.
