Count anything from your Home Screen, with a clean history
TapTrail is a counter and tally you drive from your Home Screen. Add a widget for anything you want to keep count of (habits, reps, glasses of water, prayers, a simple score), then tap it to count up or down. The number changes right there on the widget; the app never has to open. A tap is a dot, and your taps leave a trail you can look back on.
Every change and every reset is saved to a clean history you can actually read. Filter it by All, Logs, or Resets and by date, and see a running summary (total change, plus and minus counts, and resets) for whatever range you're viewing. It's the browsable, filterable log that most counter apps skip, paywall, or bury in a CSV export.
Counters can be normal or recurring (daily, weekly, or every N days), and recurring ones reset themselves on schedule, saving each reset to history so a period's total is never lost. A simple statistics view charts the count at each reset so you can see your trend at a glance.
It's genuinely free: no ads, no account, no tracking, and everything stays on your device. TapTrail is native on iPhone and Android, follows light and dark mode, and on iOS embraces the Liquid Glass design of iOS 26.
