Summary

TapTrail does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you create in the app - your counters and their history - is stored only on your device. There are no accounts, no ads, no trackers, no analytics, and the app makes no network connections.

1. Who we are

TapTrail ("the app," "we," "us") is a counter and tally app for iOS, developed by Mustafa Aslanov ("the developer"). This policy explains how the app handles your information.

2. Information we collect

None. TapTrail does not collect, request, or receive any personal information. Specifically, the app does not:

ask you to create an account or sign in;
collect your name, email, contacts, location, photos, or any device identifiers;
use analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind;
include third-party SDKs that collect data.

3. How your data is stored

The counters, taps, resets, and history you create are saved locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. So that the Home-Screen widgets can show and update your counters, this data lives in a shared app-group container on the same device (group.com.speranda.TapTrail). It never leaves your device and is never sent to us or anyone else.

TapTrail does not use iCloud or any cloud service to sync or back up your data. (If you have device backups enabled in iOS, your app data may be included in your own Apple backup, which is controlled by Apple and your Apple ID settings - not by us.)

4. Network use

TapTrail makes no network requests. The app works fully offline and does not connect to any server, ours or third-party.

Because we collect no data, we have nothing to sell, share, or disclose. We do not share any information with third parties, advertisers, or analytics providers.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your data stays on your device for as long as you keep it, and you are in full control:

Delete individual counters or history entries inside the app at any time.
Deleting the app from your device permanently removes all TapTrail data stored on it.

We hold no copy of your data, so there is nothing to request from us and nothing for us to delete on our end.

7. Children's privacy

TapTrail is suitable for all ages (rated 4+). Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

8. Your privacy rights

Laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) and the CCPA (California) give you rights over personal data that a company holds about you. Since TapTrail collects and stores no personal data off your device, we hold nothing about you - there is no personal data on our side to access, correct, export, or erase. All of your app data remains under your control on your device.

9. Security

Your data is protected by your device's own security (passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, and iOS data protection). Because nothing is transmitted or stored off-device, there is no server-side data that could be exposed.

10. Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices ever change - for example, if a future version adds an optional cloud-sync feature - we will update this policy and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
